Desde muy pequeño he estado interesado en el arte y pasé mi infancia con lápices y pinceles en mis manos. El interés artístico me venía de herencia familiar, incluso mis padres tuvieron su paso por la facultad de Bellas Artes, así que me crié en un ambiente muy creativo. Cuando crecí estudié arte, primero en la Escuela de Arte y luego la licenciatura en la facultad de Bellas Artes de Tenerife. En esos años mi obra principal consistía en trabajos de pintura, escultura, dibujo y diseño gráfico. Siempre sentí interés y pasión por todos los campos artísticos, pero decidí especializarme en dibujo por considerarlo la columna vertebral, la base de cualquier representación del arte plástico y gráfico. Y así me hice ilustrador, que es mi línea principal de trabajo durante todos estos años, durante mis estudios y tras ellos. De ahí seguí mi trayectoria trabajando como muralista haciendo trabajos por encargo y numerosos festivales. También fui caricaturista, estuve trabajando en Madrid como asistente ayudante pintando la obra de varios artistas; diseñador de fondos y personajes para una productora de dibujos animados, con la que me formé en el campo de la animación; he trabajado como diseñador gráfico, también estuve una época trabajando como retratista por encargo, y esto se completa con otra gran variedad de trabajos dentro del terreno artístico.
Hace ya bastante tiempo decidí aprender a tatuar e invertí toda mi energía y dedicación en ello. A los pocos meses de empezar, entré a formar parte del equipo de un conocido estudio de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, donde me ofrecieron la oportunidad de tatuar a pesar de mi breve experiencia en el mundillo del tattoo. Aprendí rápido, estuve una etapa con ellos y un tiempo después me instalé en otro estudio importante de la capital de la isla, donde trabajé durante otros años. A día de hoy sigo dedicado íntegramente a los tatuajes en mi propio estudio en Tenerife, viajando ocasionalmente para hacer colaboraciones como invitado en otros estudios alrededor del mundo, como por ejemplo en Industrial Art de New York, entre otros. Cada año que pasa, cada día, crezco un poco más como tatuador y artista, al márgen de mi larga experiencia: Nunca se deja de evolucionar.

Since I was very little, I’ve been interested in art and I spend my childhood with pencils and brushes in my hands. My artistic interest was a family heritage, even my parents had they’re way through the Academy of Fine Arts, so I was raised in a very creative environment. As I grew up I studied art, first at the school of Fine Arts and then at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Tenerife. During this years my main work consisted in academic productions of paintings, sculpture, drawings and graphic designs. I always felt interest and passion for all the fields of the arts, but I decided to specialize in painting, as I considere it the spine, the base of any artistic representation. So I became an illustrator, which is my main line of work during all this years, during my studies and after them, performing works as a muralist, doing work on the street, custom made for locals and for a few festivals; I was a cartoonist during some months and I also worked in Madrid as helping assistant painting the work of other artists. I’ve been background and character designer for a cartoon producer, with whom I trained myself in this field. I worked as a graphic designer and for a while also as a custom made portraitist, among other related things.
Some years ago I decided to learn to tattoo and I invested all my time and dedication to it. That’s how a few months later I started at a studio in Santa Cruz de tenerife, where I was given the chance to work although I had been very little in this milieu. Some time later I entered Iguana Tattoo. Nowadays I dedicate to tattooing nearly completely in my own studio, and sometimes I’m working in different places around the world as invited to participate as a guest tattoo artist in different parts of the world, while I still develop some illustration works, alternating both fields as often as I can. Not long ago I’ve spend a bit more than a month tattooing at the Industrial Art Studio of New Jersey and now, back in Tenerife, I keep on with the idea of traveling, tattooing and growing as an artist.
